Camimex supplies wide ranges of best quality fishery products but its main items are Black Tiger, White, Pink and Cat Tiger shrimps to be processed in forms of HOSO, HLSO, PND, PUD, PTO, CPTO, Nobashi, Sushi, Tempura, breaded shrimps, etc. Besides shrimps, we also deal with basa fish, a newly developed product. Especially, Camimex is the only packer in Vietnam having been certified to process organic shrimps
Which have been certified by Naturland and importrd by Swiss market since 2002.
MORE NATURALLY FAVORED
Camimex is more naturally favored than many other packers in Vietnam thanks to its location in Camau, the center of shrimp supply in Vietnam. ( Camau has more than 250.000 ha of shrimp farms and vast territoria waters ). The natural features of this coastal wetland forest area have made it an ideal habitat for shrimps and fish and a good place for aquaculture; at present, many areas in Camau have already become organic shrimp farms. All these favorable conditions have been a very strong base for our development.
CAMAU ORGANIC SHRIMP PROJECT

Camau peninsula in Vietnam is home to one of the largest mangrove forests in the world and abounds in natural seafood. Amongst endemic species ( crabs, fishes, white and pink shrimps ) figures Organic Black Tiger Shrimps. The enterprise 184 is home to more than 1200 farms of which more than 800 are certified according to organic production standard Natuland. IMO inspected and certified that the standards are respected by each and every farm; IMO undertekes to give the consumers the guarantee that these products have a high quality, in very stage of the process. Strict criteria allowed for the certification of 60% of the total farms.
These farmers must respect strict conditions during production, transport and processing. In order to preserve the rich biodiversity, Camau farmers apply sustainable aquaculture techniqued, These eco-friendly practices focus on:
- No antibiotic, no fertilizing, no chemical products.
- Very low density: 1-2 PL/ m2 for minimal impart on the environment.
- No feeding, thanks to natural nutrients coming from the mangrove and the natural water exchange- the tide providing also a continuous influx of wild eggs and larvae.
- Preservation of the mangrove: Farms are situated in a zone of protected mangrove which sustains a unique ecosystem, the natural habitat of the Black Tiger, to produce the best quality shrimp by an environment friendly aquaculture and fair- earnings for the farmers.
