Established in 1977, CAMIMEX has been continuously enlarged and developed to become one of the leading companies on the processing and exporting aquatic products, especially shrimp, fish, squid and cuttle-fish.
Every year, CAMIMEX processes and exports more than 10,000 tons of products to the world markets. Three factories of CAMIMEX are equipped with modern machines imported from Europe, Japan and USA. More than 2,500 high-skilled staffs of CAMIMEX are usually given chances to attend courses in Vietnam and other countries for skill training and improvement.
CAMIMEX’s best advantage is to have a diversifying aquatic environment which is really the main supplying area of shrimps in Vietnam with more than 200,000 ha of big shrimp ponds and farms in Ca Mau. In addition, the mangrove forest along the seaside is a good habitat for various fish species. At present many areas of Ca Mau have become organic shrimp farms.
